Thank you to everyone who made our Weathering Clinic on Saturday such a success! We had a great time hosting you and had a larger turnout than we had hoped for. A BIG thanks also to Kadee, Tangent & Horizon Hobby for donating the cars for this clinic. Below are pictures of those who won the cars that were weathered during the clinic, we also raffled off a starter set of Pan Pastels. In the past week or so we have had several new items come into our store. Check out Athearns latest release of BNSF GP7U in the Prime for Grime Series in three distinctive Road number specific versions. All of these locomotives are former Santa Fe engines. On the Santa Fe a 'U' was given to locomotives that were rebuilt instead of an 'R'. Comes in both DCC Ready & DCC+Sound.
Also out from Athearn are the Chicago Northwestern GP9R Rebuilds by the C&NW, features the late C&NW Colors. The C&NW began a rebuild program in 1971 for their GP7's and GP9's. An 'R' was added to distinguish that these locomotives had gone through the program. DCC Ready & DCC+Sound available.
Burlington Northern's F7 for MOW Service by Athearn Genesis. These locomotives were primarily used in snow service and occasionally on work trains.
From Atlas Trains, Classic Series, HO Scale RS11 Locomotives. Comes DCC Ready & with DCC+Sound versions.
Spokane, Portland & Seattle F3 NEW run from Athearn Trains in the Genesis series. come check out this popular Northwest Railroad.
As we enter these colder months you might be enjoying more time staying warm and watching a Movie. We have a Great selection of Train DVD's and brand New this week we have several DVD's from Trackside Modeling. These videos feature a 'Trackside' view of different layouts. From well known clubs and individual modelers you can view these layouts like never before!
